Given the state of this place, it feels like I’m livin’ on a prayer…
Still no coffee, but everyone opted for naps instead of rioting. Can’t say I blame them. I’m lucky though, my roommate had one of his coworkers bring over a coffee pot and some ground coffee, so we’re all set as far as that goes. Good thing too. I’d go nuts without coffee.
That being said, I am halfway through my quarantine period. By this time next week, I should be either at the office or out in town, or at the office waiting to head into town. I’ve heard Qatar is really nice. Soon I will actually get to see it, and soon, I’ll actually get to start my new job.
I’ve done some training and answered some small questions on small tasks, but soon I’ll get to start the job itself. In the meantime, I have a couple of books left, a few DVDs and a hard drive full of movies. Oh, and my roommate is having Burger King delivered for us tomorrow.
After all, it’s the little things in life, isn’t it?
